Spud Fest Anyone?

Me, Forest & Joel flew to Ogden, UT to meet up with their friend Shanley to drive to Idaho for the annual Spud Festival in Shelley, ID. Now for those who aren't aware, this is totally my thing & I had never been to Idaho. Here are a couple of the pictures from our trip.

Les Miserables

For Gary's Birthday (Forest's younger brother) we flew to St. George, UT to see the musical Les Miserables at the Tuacahn Theatre there! Since the theatre is formed by the natural amphitheatre
in the red rocks all outdoors, it was a totally different show. It was awesome!

Where has this guy been hiding?

A couple of weeks after our first date, Forest told me he felt like he needed to give me a night off from him. I disagreed, I always wanted to be around him and with him living in Thatcher, I wanted to spend every chance he was in Mesa with him. So a little bummed out I got a text from him telling me he couldn't stop thinking of me and he saw something beautiful and it reminded him of me & said I had to have it and he left it for me on my front doorstep. So, hoping it was him, I got this instead!
Seriously, where has he been hiding?

Fun at the Lake

We love the lake! When we started dating, almost every Saturday was spent out on the lake!

Vegas Baby

After our 3rd date Forest had been planning a trip with Joel to go to Las Vegas to see Phantom of the Opera (1 of our favorites for both of us) & he said he would rather take me than anyone! It was such a blast and this trip (even though we had only been on a couple of dates) this was the 1st time Forest "unofficially" asked me to marry him. He said he already "knew" at this point.

Our Story,,, So Far

Here it is, blog #1. This is our Announcement Picture for our reception for February 21st. For those of you who don't know our story, here it is. Me & Forest met in the summer of 2001 when I came up to Thatcher to check out EAC for school. We actually became pretty good friends that following school year then lost touch when I moved back to Mesa. Funny enough we got back in touch when we found each other on Facebook and Forest called me out of the blue and asked me out. We always had a ton of fun together and I wanted to get out and meet new people and Forest was always a go to for something fun to do so I said sure thinking that this would just be a fun casual night out. Like we always did, we had a blast and I am kind of embarassed when I was more than excited when he called me the very next day to hang out again. And the rest is history. Here is a couple of pictures of us throughout our dating days up until our marriage.
