Food, Birthdays, Uncles & Babies

Update:
Just to update everyone in our recent happenings. Our Branson boy is going to be 1 in less than 2 weeks now, which is crazy by the way. Forest and I were talking how weird it is to feel like we have had this little guy in our lives forever yet the last year has gone by in a blur. He is quite the character lately. I have been working with him since he was about 6 months old with Sign Language, he could say milk and things like that when he was about 7 months old but then decided to be stubborn and not do it anymore but in the last month or so, he is doing all kinds of sign language like eat, hi/bye, milk, more and when you ask him how old he is going to be he holds up one finger and is starting to even say words like dad (of course) and thank you. He is sooo dang funny and we are loving every moment with him.
Forest turned 37 this last August. I had some shirts made for all of us that you'll see below. We didn't do too much, just dinner then cake back at our house.
Other than that we are just busy with Branson & loving living here in Thatcher.

Here is Branson with Uncle Gary (who he is crazy about)

Branson in his little church outfit. I think he looks like a professor.

Whenever we go to CPK we get the Avocado Egg Rolls and they are amazing! So I decided to try my hand at them at home. They turned out sooo good and Forest swears mine are better than CPK. I still can't decide if he is just being a great husband or really meant it. I'll take either one.

Forest's birthday cake and our shirts that I made. It was a picture of Branson and Forest and Bransons said "happy birthday daddy" mine said "happy birthday Forest" and his said "its my birthday" and we had fun and wore them all out to dinner

One other thing that I made was these delicious bagels. They don't look that appealing but that is quite deceiving. I put some jalapenos, onions and garlic inside then cheese on top. They were a winner and didn't last long around our house.

Then this is how we found Branson asleep in his crib one night. He is sooo funny with all the different positions we find him in each night.

Some of our summer....

Branson & Forest
Our poor Branson Boy has been teething & just wanted to be cuddled the other night

24th of July
For the 24th of July we headed out to the Gila Valley Celebration here in Safford
Getting ready for the fireworks

We had my nieces Lillie, Kenedy & Kate with us that night and went to Burger King for dinner and Forest and the girls said we had to wear our crowns for the entire night. So here we are at Walmart

HAWLEY LAKE
Every year around the 24th of July we attend the Busby Family Reunion up at Hawley Lake (well we actually rent out Cyclone Lake) but we've been doing it ever since I can remember so here are some of the pictures.

Wyatt & Rhett in our RV

Me, Forest and Branson

Branson & Grammy (my mom)

Our Little Chollo

Forest and Branson with the Baby Bjorn
MY FAVORITE QUARTER RIDE
This is mine and Lindsays favorite quarter ride. It goes up and around in a full circle so when I found this one in Showlow I had to ride it

PAYSON AND ROAD TRIP HOME

A few months back we headed to Payson to meet my mom and the grandkids up at our family friends cabin and we brought back Tera's kids and this is exactly how the road trip went - except we didn't happen to catch Rhett throwing up into a cup about 4 times in the car.

CANAL SKIING
One thing that we love to do is to go wakeboarding. Since our closest skiing lake is an hour away we have to compromise sometimes with skiing in the canal behind the Ranger.

Jake getting ready to go

My cousin Meagan getting ready to go

I took so many pictures of this because it was Bransons first time in the water - we took him swimming in the canal and he loved it

TABITHA'S BABY SHOWER
My friend Tabitha had her Baby Shower so I put her together a basket of goodies including this flower bow board for her baby's head- To say the least, it is more fun to put together a baby girls gift basket than for a boy.
ME, FOREST, BRANSON + 5
WE headed up to Springerville a few months ago to babysit for Forest's brother Erick and their 5 kids while they attended a pioneer trek.
Branson

There was a fly in at the Springerville airport and they had these skydivers that happened to land right by us on the runway. One of the guys actually had smoke coming from his shoes to slow himself down. It was really awesome.

Forest and Ericks kids on his plane at the airport. Luckily for us it only takes like 35 minutes to fly there as apposed to the 4 hour drive

FINALLY A CRIB
We finally got Branson's crib set up and I love it and it is also super roomy - So roomy that there is room for me

MY FIRST ZUCCHINI
I do have to say that I have had some proud moments with my first garden. We had an abundance of Zucchini's and squash with which I made tons of bread and fried zucchini with and now I am overwhelmed with tomatoes that are delicious
