Away to Vegas

So me & Forest up & decided to get away to Vegas. We already had our reception planned for February 21st but decided we wanted to get married sooner, so we did. Here are a couple of pictures from our awesome trip! We flew over there in Forest's plane but ended up getting stuck there because of the weather as you can see in some of the pictures. It was a blast!

Engagement Pictures

Christmas Time

Here are a couple pictures of me & Forest & his parents around Christmas time. His parents are so amazing & I have been so blessed by the things that I have had a chance to learn from them and can't wait for a life long future as a part of their family

Do you see any cows?

So after I moved to Thatcher (which I love by the way) me & Forest had been talking about getting married. So one day he calls me up & tells me that I need to meet him right away because he needed my help to look for some cows that had gotten out from the air. If any of you know Forest and how random he can be, this was an everyday activity for us- So he took me up in his plane and told me to look on the ground for cows- so I did & then I looked down & over the central church ballfields & written in big letters is spelled out -WILL YOU MARRY ME- Ok so I had this completely blond moment & was thinking to myself- Look how cute that is! Well it was obviously (or maybe not to some) that it was for me- I looked over and he had my ring box in his hand! I was laughing so hard because of my personal thoughts that it was for someone else- It was so dang cute and a total surprise! He is the best- One of my favorite things about our proposal location is that where he wrote out- WILL YOU MARRY ME- Is the future location of the Gila Valley Temple which should be completed in one year. Perfect timing for us to be able to get sealed there!

Thanksgiving with the Wrights

So, this being our first Thanksgiving, Forest invited me to spend Thanksgiving with his family in Thatcher. His brother Eric & his family came in from Eager, Dave & Dana came over, Heather & her family came up from Mesa, Brian, Aaron, Me, Forest & Gary were all there. It was a long, fun filled day with tons of yummy food, starting with breakfast made in dutch ovens over the pit that cooked the turkey. It was so much fun getting to know his family (who are great by the way) Here are a few pictures of that day.

I Moved to Thatcher!

Jeff, Michelle, Rachelles friend (dont remember her name) Me & Rachelle

My goodbye cake from work that my friend Rachelle decorated with fake rose petals & just married confetti
So with me living in Mesa & Forest living in Thatcher, the distance thing started to take a toll. Even though Forest was beginning to fly to Mesa just about 4-5 days a week just to see me, we didn't like the overall distance- so I put in my 2 weeks at my job, & actually ended up leaving a week later because I guess another 7 days or so felt like a lifetime! Here are a couple of pictures of my "goodbye party" at work then my friends took me out!

Halloween

So here are a couple more pictures from Halloween that I just couldn't resist sharing the story behind them. One is of me and some of my girlfriends at a Halloween party and the one with Forest in the Furry Bear Costume was taken by me in Wal Mart. So Halloween night comes around and me and Forest go to Wal Mart to buy some bullets to put in my gun holster, You have to understand that at first we were in normal clothes and Forest said he need my keys to get something out of my car and he would just meet me back - Well when he came back I see him in this full bear costume that he totally put on in the parking lot just because he knew it would make me laugh, and yes, I did, so hard.

Dumb & Dumber

So for Halloween Joel & Forest ordered Harry & Lloyd costumes from Dumb & Dumber & Forest even bought a little mini bike to fit the part even better as you can see in the pictures above. They wanted me to get a red wig and dress up at Mary (what's her name again? Samsonite?) Just kidding, I didn't go for it but decided to dress as a cowgirl instead. It was a ton of fun.

Carnies at Heart

Me & Forest always joke about how we are Carnie's at Heart because we tend to love fair food like Funnel Cakes so here are a couple of us, one at the Safford Fair, the Weezer concert at the Arizona State Fair, one with Forest and Sam from The Format, Forest's & Gary's favorite band- he happened to be sitting right next to each other and a couple of us with the oversized animals they had there. The ones at the top is me & Forest went to a traveling circus in Globe and it was the most ghetto thing ever! It actually ended up being a lot of fun and it made us laugh a lot! There were only about 25 there to see it and me and Forest were the loudest cheering & we were the only ones there without kids of our own.
