If case any of you weren't aware- I am an AZ girl! I love the sensation of the heat in the summers here on my skin. Lucky for me- I married Forest who has a boat which happens to be 1 of my favorite things to do is hit the lake in the summer. So this last weekend me, Forest, my cousin Haley and our friends Jeff, Joel and Dustin headed to San Carlos Lake. I love this lake because even though it doesn't have any facilities, it is basically empty all day. So we enjoyed a full day of smooth glass like water. I am trying to get it in as much as I can before my belly exceeds the wakeboarding "limit" It has been great!

4th of July

For our 1st 4th of July spent together we decided to stick around Thatcher. We had my Aunt Sharman's girls and a couple of their friends in town so we decided to take out the boat to San Carlos Lake for the day. I really wanted to get in 1 last wakeboarding trip before my belly gets too big - and even though I went out on the water and it was such a blast- I paid for it the next day being so dang sore I barely managed to roll out of bed. But none the less worth it. That night we laid low and went to a BBQ at my sister Tera's because I wanted to see the kids for the holiday then headed out to Forest's parents to watch fireworks.- The view from their porch doesn't get better.

Well in case some of you were not aware, a big majority of our time is spent on the road between here and Mesa, at least once a week - so to give my very pregnant sister Tera a break from her 3 other kiddos- me and Forest were their ride so here are some of the pictures from our road trip that is preparing us for our own kiddos, they crack me up - Nieces and Nephews are the best ever!

Lately we have seemed to be extra busy. Well maybe not so busy but going somewhere non stop. But I have had a lot of requests for pictures of my belly so here they are. I finally feel like I am starting to look pregnant, not like I just got married and have started to let myself go. I was actually excited when someone asked me when I was due and they weren't afraid that maybe I was just getting a belly and not actually pregnant. Right now we are at 22 1/2 weeks and counting but I cannot wait for this little guy to join us.

40 lbs. of strawberries for $13 !

What do you do when you get a smokin' deal (3 lbs. for $.99) on fresh strawberries? Well you make and bottle jam. Over the weekend Forest & I were in Mesa and saw how cheap strawberries were at the Superstition Ranch Market- So we went and bought 40 pounds to make jam for our year supply & of course to give away for gifts. We also found other great deals like 4 avocados for $1 and 5 lbs. of zucchini for $1. So last night me & Gary tried out some fried zucchini- they turned out awesome! So yeah for good deals and some more progress towards a year supply!

Just the 2 of us- plus ONE?

Well the rumor is true! Me & Forest are having our 1st baby and are more than thrilled! We have actually known for a little while but wanted to wait until we heard the heartbeat to spread the news. So we got to go to the Dr. this last Thursday and not only did we get to hear the heartbeat but we got to see the baby too. Let me tell you-it is definately Forest's child. By the way it was kicking and flipping around that thing will come out with a Mt. Dew in its hands. It was amazing! So our official due date is November 2nd.
Oh the picture above is a picture of me outside a Home Depot after Forest found a huge role of suran wrap- wrapped me up in it then made me walk out of the store. It was pretty hilarious. So anyway, we will keep you all updated with the baby news!

This was one of my favorite things from the whole trip! They had a Texas shaped Waffle Iron at our hotel and I got to make my own TEXAS WAFFLE

So we saw these goats everywhere & we wondered what they were all for until our question was answered by this sign above- they bbq it all over there

ok- so below was like my favorite stop from the entire trip- we went to a German Founded town called Frederickburg, TX- it was so cute and you could seriously feel like you were in Germany. We enjoyed the super cute houses and we stopped at this German restaurant

This was the bread & soup that they serve before you receive their entree- I loved the plates and the soup was a beef broth with cabbage and the bread was delicious.

This was a old train tunnel that now has bats that come out of it every night at a certain time to feed.- They actually have stadium style seating because so many people come to watch it. It was on a back road in Fredericksburg
